Mix with an appropriate amount of hot water (over 200°F). Blend with a spoon or mixer for larger batches for one minute and pour into a flat pan to cool. Chill overnight in a refrigerator. Cut the gel to obtain an appropriate size. Feed to crocodilians.
The firmness of the gel is affected by the amount of water used. A good starting point is to use a ratio of 30:70 by weight of dry diet to water.
