Mix dry meal with hot (180º F) water for at least 2 minutes. A good starting ratio is 80:20 water:dry meal, but this ratio should be adjusted to create the desired consistency. Pour into a shallow pan and allow to cool. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into pieces appropriately sized for the animals being fed. The mixed product should be stored under refrigeration for no longer than 36 hours. The mixed product can be frozen for an extended period of time.
